Senior SAP EHS Developer

Overview

We are looking for a seasoned SAP EHS Developer specializing in Environment, Health & Safety Product Compliance and REACH SPRC Functional to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will have 7 to 10 years of extensive experience in implementing and supporting SAP EHS solutions, ensuring alignment with global environmental and regulatory standards.

Key Duties

• Design, configure, develop, and maintain SAP EHS Product Compliance systems tailored to regulatory needs such as REACH.
• Translate environmental, health, and safety regulations into SAP EHS functionalities and workflows.
• Create and enhance custom developments including reports, interfaces, and user workflows.
• Gather business requirements, prepare both functional and technical documentation to drive solution design.
• Conduct extensive testing cycles—unit, system integration, user acceptance—and manage deployment and post-production support.
• Provide ongoing production support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system reliability and performance optimization.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and training materials, facilitate knowledge transfer, and communicate effectively across stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related fields.
• 7 to 10 years of hands-on experience working with SAP EHS modules, particularly Product Compliance and REACH SPRC Functional.
• Proficient in SAP configuration, development, testing, and support processes.

Technical Proficiencies

• Expertise in SAP EHS, Product Compliance, and REACH SPRC Functional modules.
• Experience with SAP ABAP programming, Workflow, and SAP Fiori (preferred).
• Familiarity with compliance areas including environmental, material, chemical, and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Strong knowledge of enhancement techniques such as user exits, BAdIs, interfaces, and forms.
• Experience in incident management, root cause analysis, and change management.

Additional Skills and Certifications

• Preferred experience with SAP MM and SD integrations and SAP S/4HANA platform.
• Knowledge of project management and user training best practices.
• Certifications such as SAP Certified Application Associate in SAP EHS, Product Compliance, or SAP ABAP are advantageous.

Position is located in Doha, Qatar and requires onsite presence.
