Senior Security Officer

Role Overview

As a Senior Security Officer at The Plaza Doha LXR Hotels & Resorts, your primary duty is to ensure the safety and security of guests, staff, and facilities. You will lead security operations, guide and mentor the security team, and foster a vigilant and safe environment, all while delivering outstanding guest service that enhances the hospitality experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and perform comprehensive security patrols covering all interior and exterior hotel areas to identify risks, assess threats, and uphold security standards.
• Lead initial investigations of incidents, including collecting and analyzing information, interviewing relevant parties, and documenting reports promptly and accurately.
• Maintain and review all security-related documentation such as reports, logs, incident records, and shift records, and communicate insights and recommendations to management.
• Take charge of emergency situations including safety hazards, fires, medical or security emergencies, ensuring proper protocols are followed.
• Provide courteous and professional assistance to guests regarding any security issues, ensuring their experience is safe, secure, and welcoming.
• Offer support, training, and supervision to security personnel, encouraging high standards of performance and compliance with policies.
• Monitor adherence to hotel safety policies and security procedures, continuously seeking ways to enhance security measures and reduce risks.
