Role overview
Lytehaus Group is building a live, interactive entertainment and data product that blends audience-driven broadcasting with a growing stream of causally labeled behavioral data. The team is in seed stage, preparing for a New York City launch in Q4 2026, with London planned afterward. This internship is a chance to join early and work directly with the founding team.
Location and setup
The role is based in New York City and is remote-friendly. If preferred, you can also use desk space at a WeWork office in NYC.
Engagement type
This is a paid internship, and both full-time and part-time availability will be considered. The start date is immediate and flexible.
What you will build
- Tools for live broadcasting, including overlays, vote counting, and systems that let audiences interact in real time.
- Web experiences and internal products such as landing pages, applicant and participant workflows, and production dashboards.
- Data collection and processing pipelines that capture, organize, and label behavioral signals from live episodes.
- Fast prototypes, with a workflow that may require weekly or even daily releases to match live show schedules.
What the team is looking for
- You are currently studying, or have recently completed, computer science, engineering, or a related path, or you have equivalent self-taught ability.
- You are comfortable working with JavaScript or TypeScript and at least one of React, Node, or Python.
- Experience with real-time systems such as WebSockets or streaming, TikTok or other social APIs, OBS or broadcast tools, or basic machine learning/data work is a plus.
- You prefer shipping functional work quickly over waiting for perfection.
- Interest in live entertainment, social platforms, or consumer AI is highly valued.
How the internship works
You will work closely with the COO and CEO, with direct access to the founders rather than through multiple management layers. Your work will have visible impact because code can go live quickly in front of a real audience. The role also offers a close-up view of a venture-backed consumer startup that is both launching and raising capital.
