Steward / Waiter

Overview

The Steward / Captain position at Bamboo Nation, Jaipur, involves managing the restaurant's dining area operations to deliver outstanding guest experiences. This full-time role reports to the Restaurant Manager and requires leading a team of stewards and waitstaff to maintain high standards of service.

Key Duties

• Deliver excellent guest service by promptly addressing concerns and complaints.
• Supervise dining floor activities, including seating arrangements and coordination with kitchen to ensure timely food service.
• Maintain cleanliness and ambiance of dining areas, ensuring compliance with company standards.
• Support order taking during busy periods and ensure food and beverage orders are accurate and delivered appropriately.
• Help manage inventory for service items such as cutlery and linens, ensuring supplies are replenished as needed.
• Assist in staff scheduling in collaboration with management to ensure adequate coverage during peak times.
• Develop and sustain positive customer relationships to promote repeat business and uphold company values.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and company policies at all times.

• Demonstrable experience as a steward, captain, or supervisory role in a restaurant environment.
• Strong leadership qualities and team management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Capacity to remain composed and professional in a fast-paced setting.
• Thorough knowledge of food and beverage service protocols.
• Ability to tactfully resolve guest issues.
• Availability to work during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Preference for candidates with experience in fine-dining or casual dining establishments.

Compensation
