Strategy & Analytics Lead

About the Position

Create Wellness is seeking a Strategy & Analytics Lead to strengthen our team under the Head of Data. This pivotal role focuses on integrating quantitative and qualitative insights to tackle our highest priority business questions. The successful candidate will be adept at uncovering core reasons behind complex queries and creatively determining the methodologies to address them. Your analysis will influence product innovation strategies and customer persona development, driving our key business decisions.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead critical, cross-departmental business inquiries.
• Collaborate with Marketing, R&D, Operations, and Leadership to define and prioritize strategic business questions.
• Select appropriate approaches—ranging from data analysis, surveys, customer interviews, or blend thereof—to provide answers.
• Leverage our BI platform (Omni) to expertly explore first-party data.
• Convert collected data and customer feedback into clear, actionable insights for decision-making.
• Identify and highlight emerging trends and issues across functions proactively.
• Manage and refine ongoing consumer insights efforts, including continuous survey programs like post-purchase and NPS surveys.
• Design and execute qualitative research activities such as customer interviews, panel studies, and one-off surveys as needed.
• Analyze unstructured data sources (product reviews, customer experience conversations) and establish consistent processes to translate these into structured, useful intelligence.

Candidate Requirements

• Excellent strategic problem-solving skills to navigate ambiguous and high-impact business challenges.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with modern BI tools; familiarity with Omni or Looker is highly advantageous.
• Background in designing and conducting primary research methods including surveys and interviews preferred.
• Experience managing continuous data programs like NPS and post-purchase surveys.
• Skillful in analyzing unstructured data including customer reviews, NPS verbatim comments, and CX transcripts.
• Outstanding communication abilities to translate complex data and direct feedback into understandable narratives suitable for all audiences.
• Comfortable working in rapidly evolving environments and building processes from scratch.
• Knowledge of DBT or backend data engineering is a plus, though not mandatory.
