Role Overview and Responsibilities

• Oversee and organize HVAC electrical installation tasks on site to ensure adherence to project timelines.
• Lead a team comprising electrical foremen, electricians, and helpers to safely and effectively complete assignments.
• Plan daily operations by allocating manpower resources and confirming necessary tools, materials, and equipment are on hand.
• Track progress of HVAC electrical installations, ensuring alignment with project schedules.
• Supervise the electrical setup of AHUs, FCUs, FAHUs, exhaust fans, ventilation systems, chillers, pumps, package units, and related HVAC machinery.
• Confirm correct installation of power cables, control cables, cable trays, conduits, isolators, junction boxes, starters, variable frequency drives, and control panels.
• Coordinate with HVAC, Building Management System (BMS), commissioning teams, and other disciplines for equipment integration and functional testing.
• Manage cable pulling, glanding, termination, insulation and continuity testing, along with troubleshooting steps.
• Collaborate with QA/QC personnel for inspections, documentation management, and resolution of inspection comments.
• Assist in pre-commissioning and commissioning phases, including energizing equipment, performing functional tests, and resolving system issues.
• Validate availability and proper use of electrical materials and consumables on site.
• Review daily progress reports, manpower use, and work completion metrics.
• Ensure strict adherence to company Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies, client safety standards, and permit-to-work protocols.
• Conduct safety meetings, toolbox talks, and frequent site inspections to uphold safe working conditions.
• Maintain proper housekeeping and a well-organized work environment on site.

Candidate Qualifications

• Diploma, degree, or equivalent technical qualification in Electrical Engineering.
• At least 8 years of proven experience in electrical installation and supervision roles.
• Comprehensive understanding of HVAC electrical systems and industrial electrical installations.
• Knowledgeable about electrical connections for AHU, FCU, chillers, pumps, fans, and ventilation systems.
