Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Warehouse Manager to handle all aspects of warehouse operations, prioritizing health & safety, effective communication, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Assist with receiving, storing, and dispatching stock promptly, contributing to inventory and supply maintenance.
- Help maintain organized storage spaces and ensure proper stock rotation.
- Support the Stock Controller by keeping accurate stock records and participating in scheduled or occasional stocktakes.
- Comply with all company policies and always wear required personal protective equipment as per company standards.
- Collaborate with the Coldstore team to facilitate seamless operations.
- Demonstrate flexibility in work hours to accommodate the business demands.
- Operate in cold storage environments as part of daily duties.
- Use Microsoft Office tools such as Word and Excel, along with workstations and scanners for order picking tasks, with training provided.
- Operate forklifts to load and unload containers, place pallets into racks, and pick orders safely and efficiently.
Candidate Requirements
- Proficient communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
- Motivated, enthusiastic, and safety-conscious attitude.
- Reliable with strong punctuality and dependability.
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team.
- Physically capable of performing manual tasks as necessary.
- Aspirations to learn new skills and adapt to evolving operational needs.
- Strong time management, capable of performing effectively under pressure and meeting strict deadlines.
- Previous experience in warehouse order picking is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office is preferred.
- Possession of recent forklift driving experience in a warehouse environment is mandatory.
