Overview
We are seeking a skilled Agricultural Engineer or Supervisor to manage extensive date palm plantations, focusing on boosting productivity and applying optimal farming techniques, especially for Medjool date palms.
Key Duties
- Supervise daily agricultural activities and oversee field operations.
- Design and execute farm operational and preventive maintenance programs.
- Manage irrigation infrastructures, fertilization plans, and pest control measures.
- Handle large-scale cultivation of Medjool date palms.
- Maintain adherence to environmental, safety, and quality regulations.
- Conduct routine field inspections and generate detailed performance evaluations.
- Identify potential operational risks and introduce solutions to enhance efficiency and crop yield.
Qualifications and Skills
- Degree in Agricultural Engineering, Agriculture, or a related discipline.
- Between 3 to 5 years' experience in agricultural management roles.
- Demonstrated experience managing plantations of at least 5,000 date palm trees.
- Expertise particularly in cultivating Medjool variety date palms.
- Comprehensive understanding of farm operational programs, irrigation technology, and fertilization management.
- Proficiency in English communication.
- Professional certifications in agriculture, sustainability, or quality management are desirable.
Additional Information
The position requires overseeing operations on-site in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with a focus on large-scale date palm agricultural projects. Preference will be given to candidates holding relevant professional accreditations. The role includes responsibilities in planning, supervising field teams, and ensuring compliance with various regulatory standards.

- مهندس زراعي أو مشرف زراعي لإدارة مشروع نخيل واسع النطاق وتحسين الإنتاجية مع تركيز على نخيل المجدول.
- الإشراف على العمليات اليومية والزراعية والأنشطة الميدانية.
- تصميم وتنفيذ برامج صيانة وتشغيل وقائية للمزرعة.
- إدارة أنظمة الري وبرامج التسميد ومكافحة الآفات.
- متابعة زراعة نخيل المجدول على نطاق واسع.
- الالتزام بمعايير السلامة والجودة والبيئة.
- إجراء تفتيشات ميدانية منتظمة وإعداد تقارير أداء مفصلة.
- تحديد المخاطر التشغيلية وتطبيق حلول لتحسين الكفاءة والعائد.
- شهادة بكالوريوس في الهندسة الزراعية أو الزراعة أو مجال ذي صلة.
- خبرة تتراوح بين 3 إلى 5 سنوات في إدارة العمليات الزراعية.
- خبرة موثقة في إدارة لا تقل عن 5000 نخلة.
- خبرة متخصصة في زراعة نخيل المجدول.
- فهم شامل للبرامج التشغيلية والوقائية وتقنيات الري وإدارة التسميد.
- إجادة اللغة الإنجليزية.
- يفضل الشهادات المهنية في الزراعة أو الاستدامة أو إدارة الجودة.
