Application Support Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking an Application Support Analyst to join our AV & Transcription Services team within the Ministry of Justice. This role is pivotal in ensuring critical business applications operate smoothly. You will collaborate closely with users, technical experts, and vendors to resolve incidents, analyze problems, and support dependable digital service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve incidents affecting business-critical applications.
• Investigate defects thoroughly to determine root causes.
• Analyze application and system-related problems.
• Assist with testing changes and system releases.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with users, vendors, and technical teams.
• Support users to optimize their use of AV and related applications.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proven experience providing application support within complex environments.
• Familiarity with desktop, networking, and audiovisual solutions.
• Enthusiasm and capability to learn technologies supporting court hearings.
• Strong problem-solving abilities to diagnose and implement practical fixes.
• Clear communication skills tailored to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to build solid relationships with customers and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of testing protocols, incident, or problem management methodologies.
• Commitment to the principles of te Tiriti o Waitangi.

About the Ministry of Justice

Additional Information

The salary range for this position is between NZD 82,770 and 112,332 annually, dependent on skills and experience.
