Overview
This contract role as a CAD Architect requires remote collaboration to deliver intricate architectural and engineering drawings. The incumbent will be charged with generating detailed floor plans, elevations, and comprehensive CAD models supporting multiple disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop precise floor plans and elevation drawings tailored to project specifications
- Create thorough CAD documentation for architectural and engineering uses
- Prepare accurate Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) annotations for manufacturing references
- Construct and label multi-sheet electrical schematics adhering to industry criteria
- Design and evaluate PCB layouts emphasizing both manufacturability and functional integration
- Collaborate efficiently via communication exchanges to clarify project demands and technical concerns
- Compile and deliver complete documentation packages matching project phases and quality standards
Qualifications
- At least three years of recent experience specializing in architectural CAD and construction documentation
- Expertise in using industry-standard software for 2D and 3D CAD modeling along with PCB layout tools
- Demonstrated knowledge in generating and interpreting GD&T callouts and intricate schematic illustrations
- Background in producing multi-sheet electrical schematics and integrating PCB design within building projects
- Excellent organizational aptitude and attention to detail for managing extensive documentation
- Advanced English communication skills are required
- Experience working on remote, cross-disciplinary teams is advantageous
