CitizenRacecar is a leading audio media company that crafts compelling and emotionally resonant content for progressive businesses, nonprofits, and government entities nationwide. In addition, they run a distinctive education initiative, Afterschool Podcasting, sending professional audio storytellers into classrooms and summer camps to teach children podcast creation skills.
Position Overview
We are looking for a part-time Associate Creative Producer to support our production team in delivering high-quality episodes for podcast series we produce and manage for clients. This is an entry-level role, fully remote, offering approximately 10 to 20 hours per week with a starting pay rate of $25 per hour on a non-exempt basis. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and upload raw audio recordings for editing purposes.
- Create accurate transcripts of episodes suitable for publication.
- Select and extract promotional clips from finalized, broadcast-ready episodes.
- Provide assistance to series Producers with research, guest booking, and other pre-production activities.
- Learn and apply our proprietary story editing methods and style.
- Monitor production workflow to ensure deadlines are met and client standards are surpassed.
