Key Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards for quality and visual presentation of bakery products including bread, cakes, pies, cookies, and rolls.
• Keep the bakery department fully stocked and prepared for daily operations.
• Ensure all bakery items have accurate signage and pricing.
• Comply with cold chain protocols, regular thermometer calibrations, temperature logs, appropriate food handling, product rotation, and adherence to sell-by and expiration dates.
• Follow strict food safety, sanitation, and cleaning procedures within the bakery.
• Manage ordering, clearances, price adjustments, and proper labeling of bakery goods.
• Prepare baked products correctly by following specific thawing and baking guidelines to maintain product quality and appearance.
• Secure all bakery displays safely and professionally.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage is $18.05 (Canadian dollars).
