About Us
The Arts Club Dubai sits in the center of DIFC and spans four floors across 65,000 square feet within the new ICD Brookfield Place development, which was designed by Foster + Partners.
It is the first overseas branch of the renowned private members’ club that began in 1863 in Mayfair, London. Its membership brings together a broad, international community of people from varied cultures and industries, both from the region and beyond.
The Club aims to give members a true home-away-from-home experience: a calm, refined setting defined by comfort, hospitality, elegance, and meticulous service.

Role Overview
The Barback supports the smooth day-to-day operation of the bar by working alongside senior team members and following their direction. The role helps ensure that service remains seamless, guest experience stays at a very high standard, and all Club procedures are followed consistently.
Key Duties
- Prepare and serve drinks for members and guests in line with the department’s standard operating procedures.
- Contribute ideas for new cocktails and support the development of the bar menu’s drink selection.
- Keep service moving efficiently and make sure standards are maintained throughout all service periods.
- Deal with minor guest concerns politely, professionally, and with courtesy.
- Make sure all bar tools, equipment, and service items are ready and available when needed.
- Minimize beverage waste and safeguard stock assigned to your responsibility.
- Track the daily checklist and complete all opening and closing tasks on time.
Candidate Profile
Applicants should have at least 2 years of experience in a comparable role within luxury hotels or fine-dining restaurants. A professionally recognized international certification is required. Strong written and spoken English is essential, along with excellent communication, listening, organization, time management, and flexibility. The role also calls for a high level of integrity, discretion, and the ability to manage long shifts while remaining on your feet for extended periods.
