Boutique Assistant

Role Summary

The Boutique Assistant acts as a key representative of the Maison Chloe, warmly welcoming every guest and integrating them into the Chloe community. This role involves supporting boutique operations, assisting clients and sales associates, and ensuring smooth day-to-day activities in the store.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service by greeting clients upon arrival, catering to their needs throughout their visit, including offering refreshments and informing about wait times.
• Support the sales team by managing product handling tasks such as running items, wrapping purchases, assisting with beverage service, coat check, and administrative duties like faxing or copying when required.
• Handle service-related items by coordinating with the repair and service departments as necessary.
• Engage in daily operational duties including inventory control, using the Boutique Inventory Tool for product movements, tagging, quality checks, organizing, cycle counts, problem resolution, and audit preparations.
• Manage stock of boutique supplies such as shopping bags, catalogues, wrapping materials, and client refreshments to maintain smooth store operations.
• Contribute to the boutique’s opening and closing routines, including setup and breakdown tasks.
• Assist in preparing and packaging products for shipment efficiently and properly.
• Adhere to and support compliance with all company policies, including security measures, product handling, inventory procedures, and audit requirements like tax exemption and sales documentation.
• Develop thorough knowledge of Chloe’s products and brand values to effectively communicate the Maison’s purpose.
• Follow visual merchandising standards, actively participate in setting up showcases, replenishing stock, and maintaining display aesthetics.

Candidate Requirements

• A college degree is preferred but not mandatory.
• Prior experience in luxury retail or the hospitality industry is advantageous.
• Availability to work retail hours, including weekends, is essential.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Proficient with basic computer operations, including tablets and PCs.
• Physical ability to stand throughout the working day.
• Strong enthusiasm for the Chloe brand.
• Additional language skills are valued.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are critical.
