Business Analyst

Role Overview

The Business Analyst, working remotely with Optomi, will play a vital role in assessing, designing, developing, and implementing standardized reports, business workflows, and information system solutions. This individual will oversee projects from their start to finish, while crafting and sustaining business strategies and dashboards across multiple projects or initiatives. Acting as a strategic thought partner, they will monitor category and program performance and stay abreast of emerging trends.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage every phase of project life cycle from inception through completion.
• Serve as a subject matter expert conducting detailed research and analysis.
• Define and report key metrics that measure business value effectively.
• Create and maintain business strategies, performance dashboards, and relevant metrics.
• Track category and program outcomes, analyzing trends to guide decision-making.

Experience and Skills Desired

• Strong organizational abilities paired with proficient project management skills.
• Solid practical experience with SQL queries, with a preference for BigQuery.
• Competency in analyzing extensive datasets including A/B testing and experimental data.
• Advanced proficiency in Tableau and/or Excel for robust reporting needs.
• Excellent communication abilities to translate technical insights for non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in retail media, digital advertising, or analytics is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Python or comparable scripting languages is preferred.
• Experience using AI tools, copilots, agents, knowledge management platforms, or automated analytics solutions is a plus.
• Knowledge of large language models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), or agentic AI applications is desirable.
• Exposure to Salesforce applications is advantageous.
