Business Development Senior Engineer

Job Overview

The role of Business Development Senior Engineer involves supporting commercial and business development teams by conducting business process analysis, identifying potential revenue opportunities, and managing key documentation and bidding procedures. This position functions as a bridge between technical expertise and commercial knowledge, delivering analytical insights, coordinating among various teams, and driving improvements in business process quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to Regional and Segment Business Development teams by managing commercial activities along with administrative and operational support.
• Regularly update and maintain databases related to business development such as client, vendor, subcontractor information, company certifications, and prequalification documents.
• Review invitations to bid (ITB) to detect commercial risks and opportunities, ensuring compliance and aiding in the preparation of financial bid documents including bid bonds.
• Create, review, and sustain reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to aid management in commercial planning and decision-making.
• Assess current commercial workflows to identify areas for improvement and propose initiatives to boost operational efficiency and revenue growth.
• Collaborate closely with marketing and cross-functional teams to develop project materials, update pipelines, maintain certifications, and curate company profiles and communication content.
• Serve as the central contact for business development reporting systems, guaranteeing accurate and timely commercial data availability.
• Support quality management initiatives by recognizing process gaps, reporting non-conformities, and suggesting appropriate corrective measures.
• Ensure alignment with organizational policies including health, safety & environment (HSE), SA8000 social accountability standards, and quality management systems.
• Fulfill other assigned administrative duties as needed, adapting to evolving business development priorities and operational requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• Holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from any discipline.
• Experiences ranging from five to seven years overall, with at least five years specifically in relevant fields.
