Opportunity

This position comes with a competitive pay rate and a remote retention allowance of up to $3,000 per year. The allowance is not pensionable and is paid hourly for all paid time at the base hourly rate.

Role overview

In this role, you will work as a surgical processor, handling the cleaning, reassembly, and sterilization of hospital supplies, surgical tools, and equipment. The job requires using aseptic practices and universal precautions to help reduce hospital-acquired infections. You will also check that instruments and equipment are functioning properly, carry out biological, chemical, and quality assurance tests, and escalate any issues to a supervisor or designated lead.

Qualifications

You must have completed an accredited Medical Device Reprocessing (MDR) program and hold either HSPA certification or CSA certification.

Compensation: Minimum salary is 25.70 per hour and maximum salary is 29.28 per hour.
