The company manages listings across the MLS and over 20 platforms, overseeing the entire process from listing to tenant move-in.
Role Overview
We are searching for a trustworthy and detail-focused Cleaner to service residential rental properties by performing move-in and move-out cleans, rental turnover cleaning, and ensuring properties meet listing readiness standards. This position suits candidates with professional cleaning experience who can work autonomously in the field while adhering to checklists, documenting their work, and identifying any property issues that require attention prior to showings or tenant occupancy.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct cleaning appointments at residential rentals including move-in/move-out and turnover cleans.
- Perform general residential cleaning aligned with company quality standards.
- Clean all rooms such as kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, and hallways, including appliances, floors, surfaces, cabinets, and fixtures.
- Eliminate dust, dirt, debris, garbage, and residual items as needed.
- Wipe down counters, sinks, mirrors, doors, baseboards, and high-touch surfaces thoroughly.
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and sanitize floors.
- Clean interiors of appliances like refrigerators, stoves, ovens, microwaves, dishwashers, washers, and dryers.
- Spot and report areas needing added cleaning, junk removal, repairs, maintenance, or further attention.
- Capture clear before-and-after photos and videos of the property and cleaning results.
- Provide comprehensive updates, notes, and visual documentation after each appointment.
- Maintain professional communication with landlords, applicants, tenants, and internal teams.
- Adhere strictly to company instructions, cleaning checklists, access protocols, and appointment details.
General Cleaning Tasks May Include
- Move-in and move-out cleaning duties.
- Rental turnover and deep cleaning assignments.
- Kitchen, bathroom, appliance, and floor cleaning.
- Dusting, wiping surfaces, and cabinet/drawer cleaning.
- Cleaning window sills and baseboards.
- Garbage disposal and light debris removal.
- Preparing properties for listing including cleaning before photographs, showings, inspections, or tenant move-in.
Qualifications & Skills
- Prior experience in cleaning roles such as cleaner, housekeeper, cleaning contractor, or residential cleaner.
- Strong understanding of residential cleaning standards and procedures.
- Reliable transportation to reach various rental properties.
- Possession of necessary cleaning supplies and equipment for appointments.
- Comfortable working independently at residential locations.
- Owns a smartphone equivalent to or better than iPhone 13 with a high-quality camera for documenting work.
- Able to take clear photos and videos of properties and cleaning tasks.
- Capable of writing clear, concise notes and submitting timely updates after visits.
- Highly professional, dependable, punctual, and detail-minded.
- Follows detailed checklists, instructions, and property access guidelines precisely.
- Communicates respectfully and effectively with landlords, tenants, applicants, and team members.
