Clinical Data Analyst

Overview

The Clinical Data Analyst plays a key role in identifying data trends and suggesting improvements during clinical studies, using various analytical tools and reports to enhance data quality.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data discrepancies and collection challenges, offering solutions and guidance to clinical teams.
• Specify clinical data collection requirements for assigned studies, including developing eCRFs, CRFs, and validation checks, as well as coordinating user acceptance testing to verify correct data capture.
• Manage project activities to facilitate the launch of clinical studies, organize team meetings, set and monitor project timelines, and communicate with stakeholders.
• Develop and update sections of data management documentation such as data management plans, training resources, and user guides, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
• Oversee site and user administration tasks to ensure authorized and qualified database access.
• Contribute to the creation and review of standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and related documents for clinical data management, propose changes, and assist in training development.

Skills and Qualifications

• Proficient with Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems, particularly Medidata Rave.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent written and oral communication abilities and strong interpersonal skills.
• Skilled in problem solving and critical thinking.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualifications.
• 2 to 4 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Medidata Rave is essential.
• Note: Candidates based in Colorado or New York City may have exceptions to certain requirements.

Compensation

Target pay range is $33 to $43 per hour, depending on experience.
