Role Overview
The Clinical Data Coordinator is responsible for supporting clinical data management tasks across assigned projects, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and compliance with established standards, sponsor requirements, and regulatory guidelines. This position reports to the Manager of Clinical Data Management Support and contributes to the achievement of departmental and organizational objectives.
Primary Duties
- Assist in preparing key data management documentation for all clinical trial phases including startup, maintenance, and closeout.
- Support basic testing activities for clinical databases and automated edit checks.
- Conduct thorough data reviews and generate queries as necessary.
- Perform data entry and update databases to correct identified errors.
- Help generate SAS data requests and review report outputs for quality.
- Contribute to data transfer processes and verify transfer outputs.
- Participate in finalizing clinical databases and related project documents for sponsor handover.
- Ensure proper documentation storage and management within trial master files.
Departmental Contributions
- Engage in the continuous enhancement of Data Management practices through knowledge sharing, training, and education.
- Advocate for the importance of Data Management both within the organization and externally.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum one to two years of post-secondary education in a relevant field or between one to three years of related professional experience with ongoing training.
- Self-driven with strong communication skills and dedication to achieving positive outcomes.
- Exceptional attention to detail and an understanding of the value of collaborative work to reach objectives.

- Ability to foster teamwork and maintain effective working relationships.
Additional Information
Salary Range: CAD 41,000 to CAD 68,000 annually.
Work Location: London, Ontario with hybrid/remote flexibility.
Reporting To: Manager, Clinical Data Management Support.
