Position Overview

Join Joulé as a Clinical Research Coordinator based in West Chester/Media, Pennsylvania. This contract role offers a rate between $26 and $30 per hour and requires onsite commitment with a standard 40-hour workweek. There is the potential for transition to permanent employment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support clinical research protocol coordination under the guidance of the Principal Investigator and senior research staff.
  • Conduct participant screening to gather medical history and relevant data.
  • Facilitate informed consent processes and enroll participants consistent with protocol and ethical standards.
  • Manage scheduling of study visits, procedures, and follow-ups liaising with clinical teams and participants.
  • Accurately collect, document, and maintain clinical research data in conformity with regulatory and institutional policies.
  • Educate and communicate with participants to uphold study adherence and address inquiries.
  • Monitor study progress, documenting adverse events, protocol deviations, and other issues.
  • Comply strictly with site SOPs and Good Clinical Practice guidelines.
  • If qualified, draw, process, and dispatch laboratory specimens including hazardous materials adhering to regulations.
  • Organize and maintain study files and records with scanning and filing activities.
  • Utilize critical thinking to enhance operational efficiency and resolve challenges.
  • Execute additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum education: high school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree or higher in health-related fields preferred.
  • Basic understanding of clinical research strongly desired.
  • Required knowledge of medical terminology and patient care experience.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills capable of engaging diverse populations professionally.
  • Team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with GCP, HIPAA, ALCOA standards, FDA regulations, and IATA guidelines preferred.
