Role Overview

The Compliance Associate will play a crucial role in administering and supporting Cherry's compliance initiatives. This position involves coordinating with business units and partners to reduce compliance-related risks.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with regulatory strategy by managing company license applications, renewals, responding to regulatory inquiries, and overseeing state examinations.
• Oversee the Compliance Management Program, including policies, procedures, training, handling consumer complaints, issue resolution, marketing compliance, and vendor oversight.
• Coordinate internal and external audit processes by investigating concerns, addressing requests, and directing corrective actions.
• Advise and support business teams regarding compliance and regulatory matters.
• Perform additional assigned responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Possess a bachelor's degree.
• Preferably have over two years of relevant experience.
• Experience within financial services is an advantage.
• Knowledge of the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and state licensing platforms is beneficial.
• Exhibit a high degree of attention to detail, organization, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain a professional and positive demeanor with the ability to build rapport quickly.

Compensation and Terms

• This is a contract role offering a base salary of $105,000 annually.
• Eligible for an incentive bonus of $6,250 per month, totaling $25,000 per year.
