Role overview
YOM Beauty LTD is hiring a practical, delivery-led content and social media professional to manage its digital presence across the website and corporate social channels. The focus is on keeping channels active with high-quality, brand-aligned content while using performance data and platform trends to improve results over time. This position combines creative content work with sound judgement about what to publish, when to publish it, and the reason behind each piece of content.
Key responsibilities
- Take ownership of the everyday content schedule across web and social platforms.
- Collaborate with the team to develop content series that reinforce brand pillars and product narratives.
- Arrange brainstorming sessions with the team to generate and activate content around calendar moments.
- Work with the art director to maintain the library of social assets for both organic and paid campaigns.
- Draft, edit, design, and publish or schedule posts and stories in line with brand voice and visual standards.
- Use analytics to guide sequencing and timing so content reaches the audience at the most effective moments.
- Support creator seeding and briefing to maintain the right balance between creator-led content and user-generated content.
- Identify stories across the business, including campaigns, leadership perspectives, partnerships, and events.
- Stay aware of beauty-related news and wider social conversations so the brand can join relevant discussions.
- Maintain a reliable content pipeline so channels stay current and connected to industry developments.
- Carry out a daily monitoring summary to surface issues, opportunities, and urgent response needs.
- Track trending topics and notable industry moments that are worth participating in.
- Engage with important mentions and tagged content to improve visibility and interaction.
- Plan and execute campaigns across all social platforms.
- Work closely with brand, communications, and other internal teams to align content with strategic priorities.
- Extend major moments across channels and share opportunities with the wider team where relevant.
- Measure success through stronger reach, engagement, followers, referral traffic to the website, and improved data-led performance.
Candidate profile
- Experience managing corporate or brand social media channels.
- Strong editorial judgement with solid writing and editing ability for different tones and audiences.
- Ability to capture basic photo and video content for social use.
- Working knowledge of analytics tools and how to apply them to content decisions.
- Excellent organisation skills and the ability to handle several priorities at once.
- A collaborative style with the ability to build relationships, source content quickly, and secure approvals efficiently.
