Role Overview
This is a full-time remote opportunity for a Content/Script Writer at Creatovate. The role involves creating fresh scripts and story outlines for videos, short films, branded pieces, and other digital media formats. You will partner with producers, directors, and fellow creatives to sharpen concepts, organise story flow, and make sure the writing fits the project brief and target audience.
What You Will Do
- Draft original scripts and storylines for different digital content formats.
- Work with production and creative teams to shape ideas into structured narratives.
- Write scene outlines, dialogues, and script versions tailored to length and platform.
- Improve drafts using editorial and creative feedback.
- Take part in ideation sessions and contribute new story ideas.
- Do basic research to support factual and contextually accurate storytelling.
- Keep tone, style, and quality consistent across all assigned work.
Requirements
- Ability to speak and write in either Tamil or Telugu is compulsory.
- Strong command over scriptwriting, screenplay writing, and scripting across short-form, long-form, and branded content.
- Solid writing ability with an emphasis on clear storytelling, engaging dialogue, and flexible narrative style.
- Awareness of video production and how scripts support visual pacing and collaboration.
- Comfort with rewriting and refining content based on review comments.
- Experience writing scripts for digital media, film, or advertising, along with a portfolio of narrative work.
- Familiarity with content planning and basic storyboarding will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative setup.
- Strong communication, time management, and deadline-handling skills in a fast-paced production environment.
