Role Overview

We are establishing a new control centre and seek multiple Control Room Operators to join this innovative initiative. The role involves real-time surveillance of telematics and incident alerts through our In-Vehicle Monitoring System (IVMS) to promote fleet safety, ensure driver welfare, and enforce compliance.

The control room is presently located in Dandenong, Victoria, with plans to move to Melbourne's CBD later this year. Operators will work a rotating 4-week schedule including day, afternoon, and night shifts.

Core Responsibilities

• Maintain professional communication with drivers, supervisors, and operations teams.
• Monitor and promptly respond to live IVMS alerts following established protocols.
• Provide immediate support to operational leaders during incident escalations.
• Quickly and accurately escalate critical incidents.
• Keep comprehensive and accurate records within systems to assist investigations.
• Encourage safe driving practices and compliance adherence.

Candidate Profile

• Experience working in control room, call centre, or emergency response settings.
• Background in transport or logistics preferred but not mandatory.
• Proven ability to efficiently manage urgent incidents and escalation processes.
• Comfortable navigating multiple IT systems and digital platforms simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Availability to work on a rotating 24/7 shift roster.
