Cost Controller

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Manager to join a fast-growing food chain enterprise located in Lahore. This role is pivotal in overseeing and securing the restaurant's inventory by meticulously recording incoming stock, monitoring usage, analyzing discrepancies, and collaborating closely with the Loss Prevention Officer to prevent fraud and losses.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately log all incoming stock deliveries and validate them against supplier invoices and purchase orders
• Track and report daily stock consumption ensuring alignment with sales and production figures
• Maintain an updated stock control system reflecting precise inventory levels
• Conduct regular stock model analyses comparing actual vs expected usage, highlighting inconsistencies
• Perform routine shrinkage and variance evaluations to detect losses, waste, or misuse
• Partner with the Loss Prevention Officer to investigate anomalies possibly indicating fraud or errors
• Communicate findings to the Restaurant Manager and aid in enforcing corrective measures and strengthened controls
• Participate in both scheduled and surprise stock audits verifying physical and recorded stocks match
• Support enhancements in stock handling procedures and promote staff accountability to minimize avoidable losses

Candidate Requirements

• Comprehensive knowledge of inventory management practices, preferably in the food service industry
• Proficiency in using inventory management software or spreadsheets for stock tracking and variance analysis
• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to scrutinize numbers, logs, and operational data confidently
• Capability to collaborate effectively with loss prevention and management teams to resolve issues
• Reliable, well-organized, and proactive in loss prevention efforts
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team environment

Additional Information

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related disciplines
• Experience Required: 3 to 5 years in relevant roles
• Location: Lahore, Pakistan
• Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 1 PM to 9 PM
• Compensation: Competitive salary with benefits
