Data Analyst - Finance & Procurement

Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive Data Analyst specializing in Finance and Procurement to oversee reporting and dashboard management for Finance, Procurement, and Operations departments. The role involves leading a key data migration project from Alteryx to a Databricks data warehouse, transforming financial and operational datasets into actionable insights, and streamlining processes for greater efficiency in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and sustain dashboards using Power BI and Tableau to visualize business data.
• Extract, transform, and transition data during the shift from Alteryx to Databricks platforms.
• Leverage Python scripting to support migration efforts and automate data processing workflows.
• Develop complex SQL queries to extract and analyze data from various systems.
• Utilize advanced Excel functionality, including Power Query, XLOOKUP, and Pivot Tables for data analysis.
• Conduct detailed analysis of source-to-settle processes, including purchase orders, goods receipts, invoices, and payments.
• Design and implement automation solutions with Power Automate and Power Apps to optimize workflows.
• Continuously identify opportunities for improving reporting methods and business processes.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficient in SQL and experienced with business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• In-depth knowledge of Purchase-to-Pay, Accounts Payable, and GR-IR processes.
• Self-motivated with the ability to independently identify and pursue improvement opportunities.
• Adaptable to ambiguity and capable of managing changing priorities effectively.
• Strong interpersonal and communication capabilities to clearly convey insights and collaborate across teams.
