Internship Overview

We are seeking a driven Data Analyst Intern to join our team part-time. This opportunity suits final-year students or recent graduates residing in or near Bristol, UK, who are eager to apply their data analysis skills in real-world projects.

Duration: 3 months
Work Hours: 20 hours weekly, Monday through Friday
Hourly Pay: £16.00
Work Setting: Hybrid (2 days onsite, 3 days remote)
Location: Bristol, United Kingdom

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and verify data sets to ensure accuracy for analysis
• Analyze data to uncover patterns, trends, and business insights
• Develop and run SQL queries to retrieve and manage data effectively
• Assist in creating and updating dashboards using Power BI or similar platforms
• Conduct statistical evaluations and present results clearly
• Support preparation of reports and data outputs for internal teams
• Document data workflows and uphold data quality procedures
• Collaborate with team members to meet project timelines and goals

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Final-year student or recent graduate in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related analytical discipline
• Knowledgeable in SQL and proficient with Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or comparable visualization tools through academic or personal projects
• Basic familiarity with Python or R for data analysis is advantageous
• Strong analytical abilities and keen attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
• Comfortable working in a hybrid format
• Residency in or commutable distance to Bristol, UK
