Role Overview
We are seeking a Data Scientist for a contract role based onsite in Riyadh. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, cleanse, and examine data from multiple sources, developing statistical and machine learning models that aid business decisions and digital transformation efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and conduct experiments to validate hypotheses.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends and patterns.
- Create visual reports and interactive dashboards to communicate results clearly.
- Present insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Work with engineering and product teams to deploy analytic solutions.
- Monitor and optimize model performance in production environments.
- Suggest enhancements to data pipelines and decision-making workflows.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Solid foundation in data science, statistics, and experimental design.
- Proficiency in data analytics and deriving actionable insights.
- Experience with data visualization techniques and tools for reporting.
- Programming expertise in languages like Python or R, and SQL.
- Familiarity with machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch is advantageous.
- Understanding of cloud platforms, data pipelines, and ETL concepts is a plus.
- Strong analytical problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to explain complex findings clearly.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in quantitative disciplines including Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related fields.
- Experience of at least 3 years, including domain-relevant data knowledge.
- Completion of Responsible AI/SDAIA training is required.
- Capability to work onsite in Riyadh and engage collaboratively in a diverse, cross-functional setting.
