Job Overview
This role involves preparing high-quality hot and cold deli items while ensuring the highest standards of customer satisfaction are maintained at all times.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Possession of HACCP certification is a plus but not mandatory
- Strong communication abilities
- Previous experience in customer service is beneficial
- Capable of working collaboratively within a team in a fast-moving setting and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously under pressure
- Demonstrates enthusiasm for food and can positively influence customers
Primary Responsibilities
- Embody Centra’s core values: Pride, Energy, Creativity, and Community Engagement
- Prepare customer orders encompassing all fresh food categories such as assembling sandwiches and rolls, serving hot dishes, and slicing meats using the store’s portion control guidelines
- Cook, prepare, and present food offerings continuously throughout the day
- Maintain exceptional appearance and organization of fresh food displays across counters all day long
- Showcase a passion for quality foods by sharing knowledge, recipes, and personalized suggestions with customers
- Handle all customer inquiries promptly, courteously, and in compliance with store policies

Location: Carnmore Centra, Tralee, County Kerry, Ireland.
