Position Overview

Key Duties

• Maintain and organize the deli department ensuring a clean and orderly environment.
• Rotate merchandise and monitor expiration dates to guarantee freshness.
• Ensure all items are correctly priced and properly labeled.
• Follow strict guidelines for cold chain management, including temperature monitoring and food safety standards.
• Prepare and slice deli products such as meats and cheeses and assist customers with their orders.
• Support front-end staff by performing price verifications as needed.
• Handle food preparations including using slicers, rotisserie ovens, and fryers. Prepare salads and side dishes for display and fulfill special customer requests.

Compensation

The hourly wage for this position begins at $15.80.
