Qualifications and Duties

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Hold a valid driver's license and maintain a safe driving record according to company standards.
• Have access to an insured vehicle suitable for delivery purposes.
• Possess navigational skills to read maps, find addresses within the delivery area, and navigate challenging terrains including multi-story buildings.
• Operate store equipment and assist with stocking ingredients from delivery areas to appropriate storage.
• Prepare products as needed.
• Ability to comprehend written instructions and communicate effectively with customers and coworkers both verbally and in writing.
• Perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, including making correct change.
• Use computers or touchscreens for order entry efficiently.

Work Conditions and Physical Requirements

• Exposure to temperature extremes, including coolers and hot work areas above 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Handling of food odors, cornmeal dust, hot surfaces up to 500 degrees, and contact with sharp edges and moving machinery.
• Standing most of the shift with some walking on hard surfaces, sitting only during paperwork tasks.
• Occasional lifting of supplies up to 50 pounds, stacking on shelves up to 6 feet high, and carrying products such as cans or trays weighing up to 30 pounds.
• Infrequent climbing of stairs or ladders for tasks such as maintenance or price changes.
• Delivery duties involve carrying pizzas and beverages, driving within designated areas, navigating stairs or various terrains while delivering products.

Additional Driving Responsibilities

• Deliver orders and promotional materials directly to customers’ doors.
• Ensure safe operation of vehicle consistent with company policies.

Sensory and Temperament Requirements

• Good verbal and telephone communication skills.
• Sharp vision including near, mid-range, and night vision for driving and delivery tasks.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently, handle stress, follow strict quality standards, and make sound decisions.

Training

Orientation and hands-on training are provided on the job.
