Engineer - Logistics

Role Overview

We are looking for an Engineer specializing in logistics to oversee the erection and installation of precast concrete components at the construction site. The professional will be responsible for managing the sequencing, alignment, and jointing of precast elements strictly following approved drawings and established method statements.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise the assembly and installation of precast concrete elements ensuring that sequence, alignment, jointing, and tolerance criteria meet design approvals.
• Coordinate closely with precast production, transportation, and logistics units to schedule timely deliveries and effectively manage storage or staging zones for efficient handling.
• Carry out pre-erection inspections to verify foundation readiness including embedded plates or sleeves, and confirm availability of necessary erection machinery such as cranes, lifters, and rigging equipment.
• Oversee the safe lifting, placement, and securing of key precast components including columns, beams, walls, façade panels, staircases, and slabs, ensuring stability and precision in alignment throughout the process.
• Manage the correct application of grout, sealants, and connection methods like bolting, welding, and doweling per design requirements; monitor curing stages of joints for quality assurance.
