About the role
foodpanda, a member of the Delivery Hero Group, is looking for a Facilities Trainee to support warehouse and facilities operations in Singapore. The company operates across roughly 65 countries and is known for delivering food quickly and conveniently. What you'll do
- Take charge of day-to-day warehouse operations and keep the company’s warehouse facilities maintained and in good condition.
- Track annual electrical licensing and other renewals that are needed for compliance.
- Find suitable contractors and obtain quotations for maintenance jobs, then review ongoing maintenance contracts.
- Support alteration, addition, and renovation-related work.
- Handle SFA licence applications if required; prior experience in this area is considered an advantage.
- Help ensure warehouse operations meet the agreed service levels and performance targets.
- Suggest and put in place improvements to workflows, operating goals, and team processes.
- Maintain Workplace Safety & Health procedures and support compliance through regular safety and health risk checks.
- Make sure company policies, procedures, and work standards are followed consistently.
- Arrange periodic maintenance activities and report any equipment or facility issues to the Realty Facility Manager.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and safe for work.
- Carry out other assigned tasks as needed.
What we're looking for
- A diploma or similar qualification in a facilities-related or relevant field.
- Fire safety manager certification and Workplace Health Safety certification are preferred and will be a plus.
- Strong ability to solve problems, make decisions, and handle several priorities at once.
- Good understanding of safety, health, and environmental requirements in real estate or property management.
