Factory Manager

Role overview

We are looking for a seasoned Factory Manager to take charge of end-to-end manufacturing activity across multiple factory operations. This position covers production, mixing, filling, packaging, and the related supply chain, with a strong focus on efficiency, quality, output improvement, and cost discipline. The role also requires keeping production aligned with sales demand and supporting local as well as international growth plans.

Core responsibilities

• Direct all stages of manufacturing for perfumes, oils, incense, and oud-based products.
• Ensure smooth coordination between production, mixing, packaging, and distribution functions.
• Drive better operating efficiency, minimize waste, and lift overall productivity.
• Create, revise, and track production plans based on sales forecasts and business needs.
• Handle capacity planning so supply and demand remain balanced.
• Build production schedules and work to shorten cycle times across processes.
• Maintain compliance with GMP and all relevant quality requirements.
• Put quality control systems in place and reduce process errors.
• Champion ongoing improvement projects throughout factory operations.
• Prepare and control the factory operating budget.
• Track manufacturing spend and improve cost effectiveness without reducing product quality.
• Review financial and operational gaps and apply corrective measures.
• Lead teams across production, engineering, quality, and operations.
• Develop strong teams and strengthen employee skills and performance.
• Assess team output and support continuous learning and development plans.
• Investigate operational issues using root cause analysis and implement lasting fixes.
• Write, improve, and enforce SOPs.
• Adopt industrial best practices and introduce modern manufacturing technologies.
• Manage sourcing of raw materials, especially oud, from overseas markets.
• Take part in procurement committees and maintain strong relationships with international suppliers.
• Safeguard the quality, dependability, and sustainability of the supply chain.
• Attend overseas exhibitions to stay current on manufacturing and packaging innovations.
• Assess suppliers, machinery, equipment, and emerging technologies for operational improvement.
• Support factory expansion initiatives and lead knowledge and technology transfer into the site.

Candidate profile

• A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Industrial Management, or a closely related discipline is required.
• At least 10 years of leadership experience in a multi-product manufacturing setting is required.
• Hands-on experience working in factories that operate under GMP standards is essential.
• Background in managing complex manufacturing operations and international supply networks is needed.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, and capacity management is expected.
• Experience in improving efficiency, cutting waste, and controlling costs is important.
• Ability to manage budgets, interpret financial and operational results, and act on findings is necessary.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, decision-making, and stakeholder management abilities are required.
