Foreign Exchange (FX) Analyst

About the Role

Join U.S. Bank's dynamic Foreign Exchange Trading team as an FX Analyst, contributing to the expansion of our market making initiative across all FX product lines including Spot, Forward, Basis, and Options. This role offers you a chance to work closely with senior traders, sales, and quant teams to enhance trading activities and product offerings.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute trades in foreign exchange markets, managing client orders and resolving trade inquiries.
• Perform comprehensive analysis of global FX markets, macroeconomic indicators, and relevant data to support market making.
• Design risk management strategies tailored to client portfolio needs.
• Collaborate with sales, bankers, treasury consultants, and credit managers to service client demands effectively.
• Coordinate with sales, middle-office, and back-office units to ensure smooth transaction processing.
• Support daily operations and foster a cooperative and productive team environment.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, engineering, or a related discipline.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Excellent quantitative skills and data analysis capability.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel with VBA, Python programming, AI coding methodologies, and Bloomberg terminal usage.
• Ability to juggle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
• A self-driven attitude with eagerness for continuous professional development within a collaborative team setting.
• Between one to three years of experience working in FX markets.

Compensation and Benefits

• The anticipated base salary range is from $100,000 to $110,000 plus eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.
