About the Role
Located in Toronto, this full-time student position runs during the Fall semester (September to December 2026). The role involves close collaboration with the Fraud and Security Team to conduct daily operations related to identifying, investigating, and preventing fraudulent, illegal, or unauthorized actions by customers within the iGaming program. The analyst also works to minimize losses and ensure compliance with OLG's guidelines and relevant legislation.
Key Duties
- Examine player accounts to detect those who might no longer satisfy eligibility based on OLG policies and AGCO regulations.
- Review and decide on player appeals for account reinstatement following established guidelines.
- Evaluate player account data and compile necessary reports to guide action.
- Submit Anti-Money Laundering (AML) referral reports for additional examination by the AML team.
- Support the Anti-Fraud Manager by performing data analysis that informs business decisions.
- Coordinate with Corporate Security, AGCO, and the Ontario Provincial Police to escalate cases of fraud or compliance violations when needed.
- Monitor financial transactions of players to detect suspicious activities.
- Ensure that players provide all required documentation and information to maintain account compliance with OLG's Terms of Use and legal regulations.
- Confirm the authenticity of players' identity and financial details through verification processes.

- Currently enrolled in a relevant post-secondary program, preferably with emphasis on law or security studies.
