Job Overview
Become an integral part of an innovative creative team as a video editor working remotely on a contractual basis. Your role will focus on transforming raw footage into polished, engaging long-format videos such as YouTube videos, corporate presentations, and podcasts. Additionally, you will craft short, vertical clips optimized for social media platforms including Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce and edit long-form video content for YouTube, corporate material, and podcasts.
- Convert long-form videos into concise, vertical short clips tailored for social media channels.
- Integrate captions, sound effects, music, and fundamental motion graphics to boost viewer engagement.
- Maintain consistent audio clarity and apply appropriate color grading across all projects.
- Work closely with various content creators to adapt edits according to their individual styles and preferences.
- Handle multiple simultaneous projects effectively within a remote workflow.
Candidate Requirements
- At least two to three years of professional experience in video editing.
- Skilled in video editing and graphic tools including Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, Canva Pro, and CapCut Pro.
- In-depth knowledge of current social media video trends and retention strategies.
- Flexibility to modify editing approaches to suit diverse creator specifications and project needs.
- Strong communication capabilities and responsiveness to feedback from clients.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage and meet multiple deadlines efficiently.
- Dependable internet connectivity and self-motivated to work productively in an independent, remote environment.
