Role Overview
The Front-End Content Developer will play a pivotal role in updating and refining digital experiences on enterprise platforms, mainly executing website content changes and marketing projects. The position primarily involves using HTML, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript within Salesforce Commerce Cloud and related CMS tools, alongside Optimizely and Tealium, to ensure superior customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and modify website content daily using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript inside Salesforce Commerce Cloud’s Business Manager and Page Designer.
- Maintain and update the homepage, landing pages, product listings, and product details sections promptly and accurately, aligning with brand guidelines.
- Support marketing and business requirements by delivering timely production updates outside of traditional sprint cycles.
- Collaborate closely with brand, marketing, merchandising, and digital teams to clarify content needs and transform creative directions into precise front-end implementations.
- Develop, test, and maintain A/B tests and digital experiences on Optimizely, coordinating with analytics and optimization teams for smooth execution.
- Ensure code quality and responsiveness, adhering to accessibility standards (ADA/WCAG 2.1) and semantic markup best practices.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities in workflows, reusable patterns, and content deployment processes.
Preferred Skills and Tools
- Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, CSS animations, and vanilla JavaScript.
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks and libraries including jQuery, React, Vue, Angular, and animation/slider libraries like Slick Slider, Swiper.js, GSAP, and three.js.
- Proficient in Salesforce Commerce Cloud platforms such as Business Manager and Page Designer.
- Knowledge of tag management using Tealium iQ and understanding of Universal Data Object (UDO) standards.
- Experience using JavaScript SDKs or APIs for integrating third-party services.
- Competency in design-to-code workflow with Figma Dev Mode.
- Understanding of SEO best practices, semantic HTML, and compliance with accessibility guidelines (WCAG 2.1).
- Comfortable working with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira; version control using Git.
Qualifications and Experience
- 3 to 5 years of experience in front-end development or web content production.
- Demonstrated history of managing website content execution rather than full-scale feature or application development.
- Ability to operate independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with frequent daily production deliverables.
