Role Overview

The Head Waiter position is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai. This role is responsible for managing front-of-house operations to ensure guests receive timely, courteous, and professional service during their visit. Key duties include overseeing waitstaff, managing table assignments, assisting guests with the menu, coordinating reservations and seating, and working closely with kitchen and bar staff to facilitate seamless service.

The Head Waiter monitors service quality, handles guest feedback, trains and supports staff, maintains cleanliness and organization in the dining area, assists with opening and closing duties, supports special events, and fosters a positive team environment.

Key Qualifications

• Strong customer service orientation focused on delivering warm, attentive, and professional guest interactions.
• Familiarity with food and beverage offerings, service operations, menu terminology, and standard service procedures.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging effectively with guests, team members, and kitchen personnel.
• Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and ingredients to confidently explain dishes and provide recommendations.
• Prior supervisory or senior waiter experience in a restaurant or hotel setting.
• Leadership ability to inspire, motivate, and mentor team members in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organization and time-management skills with a strong eye for detail to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Availability to work during evenings, weekends, and holidays in line with restaurant requirements.
• Fluency in English is required; multilingual skills relevant in Dubai are beneficial.
• Hospitality or restaurant service formal training or certifications are advantageous.
