Role overview

Iceland Foods is looking for a Home Delivery Driver in Barrow-In-Furness to deliver customer shopping and represent the brand at the doorstep. This position is suited to someone who enjoys staying active, working independently, and interacting positively with customers.

The hourly pay for this position is £13.71.

What the role involves

• Loading the van safely and following correct manual handling practices for heavy items.
• Driving responsibly and following all road safety standards.
• Carrying out vehicle checks before and during shifts.
• Making sure groceries reach customers in the best possible condition.
• Delivering a high standard of customer service on every route.
• Supporting in-store tasks when the business needs extra help.
• Organising your workload independently and using time efficiently.
• Working flexible shifts, with working times that may fall anywhere between 6am and 11pm.

Who should apply

• Applicants must hold a full driving licence that has been valid for at least 3 years and carries no more than 6 points.
• You should be upbeat, approachable, and committed to giving customers a great experience.
• Being reliable, punctual, and able to meet deadlines is important.
• A strong understanding of road safety is essential.
