Overview
Embrace an opportunity to brighten guests' experiences as a Housekeeping Manager at Hilton in Ras Al Khaimah. This role involves overseeing daily housekeeping functions while fostering a warm hospitality environment to ensure memorable guest stays.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the complete operations within the Housekeeping Department.
- Maintain high cleanliness and quality standards in guest rooms, public spaces, and staff areas.
- Lead and develop the housekeeping team through training, supervision, and performance appraisals.
- Organize duty schedules and adjust staffing to meet operational needs efficiently.
- Conduct inspections regularly to guarantee adherence to brand and quality standards.
- Address guest requests and promptly resolve any housekeeping issues that arise.
- Manage inventory including linens, uniforms, cleaning materials, and equipment.
- Monitor and regulate departmental expenses to achieve effective cost control.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and fire safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and track performance indicators for the department.
- Formulate and execute housekeeping policies, standard operating procedures, and initiatives for ongoing improvement.
Experience and Qualifications
- Possess 5 to 7 years of housekeeping experience within the hospitality industry, including 2 to 3 years in a managerial leadership capacity.
- Proven expertise in managing sizable housekeeping teams within hotel, resort, or equivalent hospitality settings.
