Role overview
Al-Qadsiah Saudi Club is looking for a front-of-house professional to support the High Performance Center area used by the First Team. This position focuses on delivering a polished reception experience, controlling access, and helping the club maintain a secure, discreet, and efficient environment for players, coaches, medical staff, technical staff, and approved guests.
The role is well suited to someone who brings a service mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage a sensitive, high-profile setting with complete professionalism. It also supports the club’s wider sporting ambitions and its long-term vision for Saudi sports.
Reception and front desk operations
- Oversee the reception point assigned to the First Team and authorized personnel within the High Performance Center.
- Greet and support players, coaching staff, technical staff, medical personnel, VIP visitors, consultants, and other approved guests in a courteous manner.
- Keep the reception area orderly, professional, and appropriate for a confidential elite-sport environment.
- Guide visitors to the correct room, office, training area, or internal contact.
- Handle everyday reception and operational needs for the First Team area.
- Carry out other tasks assigned by the Operations Department.
Access control and visitor coordination
- Manage entry to the First Team area according to club procedures and approval rules.
- Coordinate with Security and Operations so that access is limited to authorized individuals only.
- Keep visitor logs and access records accurate and up to date.
- Verify visitor details with the relevant internal contact before entry is arranged.
- Escalate access problems, unauthorized movements, visitor concerns, or incidents without delay.
- Assist with access arrangements for meetings, training sessions, VIP visits, official visits, and matchday activity.
Communication and stakeholder support
- Communicate confidently in English with international players, coaches, consultants, guests, and other stakeholders.
- Respond to inquiries in a professional way and refer sensitive issues to the supervisor when needed.
- Help coordinate player movement, training schedules, visitor arrangements, and guest arrivals.
- Work alongside First Team Operations, coaching staff, medical staff, hospitality, facility management, and security teams as required.
- Keep all interactions service-oriented and professional for every approved user of the facility.
Confidentiality and conduct
- Protect player-related information, technical staff matters, visitor details, and operational updates with strict confidentiality.
- Safeguard sensitive information connected to First Team activities, schedules, visitors, and internal communication.
- Use sound judgment when dealing with players, coaches, VIPs, consultants, and outside stakeholders.
- Escalate high-profile or sensitive matters only through the approved reporting structure.
- Maintain a front-of-house standard that reflects the expectations of a premium First Team environment.
Operational support
- Support reception needs for meetings, training sessions, VIP visits, official visits, and matchday-related activity.
- Arrange basic visitor support such as arrival assistance, directions, waiting areas, and access guidance.
- Follow up with housekeeping, hospitality, maintenance, IT, or facility teams when operational help is needed.
- Report issues related to cleanliness, safety, maintenance, lighting, air conditioning, or other facility concerns affecting the reception area.
- Make sure visitor movement and reception activity do not interfere with First Team operations or training.
Documentation and reporting
- Keep visitor logs, access records, reception notes, and handover details as directed by the line manager.
- Record concerns, observations, incidents, pending actions, and follow-up items clearly and accurately.
- Prepare concise updates and handovers for the Operations Supervisor or other relevant team members when required.
- Ensure all records remain accurate, confidential, and aligned with operating procedures.
- Support the application of SOPs covering reception, access control, confidentiality, and reporting.
Qualifications and background
A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, Public Relations, Sports Management, or a similar discipline is preferred. Prior exposure to reception, executive front office, VIP hospitality, sports club operations, hotel front desk work, or customer service is an advantage. Experience in a football club, sports setting, VIP reception, or another high-profile environment would be beneficial.
Working conditions
- This is a front-of-house position that requires constant presence at the HPC reception area.
- Regular interaction with First Team players, coaches, technical staff, medical staff, VIP guests, and approved visitors is part of the job.
- Support may be required on weekends, matchdays, training days, event days, and public holidays depending on club needs.
- The role demands confidentiality and professional behavior at all times because of the sensitive nature of the First Team environment.
- Coordination with Operations, Security, First Team Operations, medical, hospitality, facility management, and service providers is expected.
Purpose of the role
The purpose of this position is to provide a well-controlled, discreet, and professional reception service inside the High Performance Center, support authorized access and visitor flow for the First Team, maintain reliable records, and ensure all reception matters are properly documented, escalated, and handed over.
