Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and people-centric Human Resources Coordinator to join our People & Culture team in Sydney. Reporting directly to the Head of HR, this permanent full-time position offers a vital role in providing a superior employee experience and managing the day-to-day HR operations of a dynamic and fast-growing technology company.

Core Responsibilities

  • Oversee full-cycle recruitment including job advertising, interview scheduling, candidate communication, and employment paperwork preparation.
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, coordinate inductions, arrange necessary equipment and system access, and handle compliance documentation.
  • Prepare and process employment contracts, contract alterations, and probation confirmations.
  • Maintain up-to-date and confidential employee records within the HR Information System (HRIS), ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Deliver first-level HR support to employees and managers concerning policies, leave, benefits, and employment inquiries.
  • Assist payroll operations through processing personnel changes, managing leave records, and coordinating with payroll providers.
  • Coordinate pre-employment screening activities such as reference checks, background verifications, right-to-work validations, and visa documentation management.
  • Support performance management cycles, professional development programs, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Ensure HR compliance with relevant employment legislation, company policies, and governance standards.
  • Organize employee-focused events, well-being programs, training sessions, and internal communications.
