About the Role
Our client, a boutique branding and digital design agency located in Auckland, seeks a skilled intermediate to senior Graphic Designer to cover a parental leave contract. As a focused agency working across healthcare, infrastructure, technology, professional services, retail, and community sectors, they excel at creating impactful brand identities and campaigns that make clients stand out.
Key Responsibilities
- Take lead on creative projects encompassing branding, digital design, marketing campaigns, and activations.
- Partner closely with strategists, creative teammates, and developers to produce work that combines strategic insight with visual excellence.
- Execute designs hands-on within design software, emphasizing strong digital delivery.
- Create and publish responsive websites using Webflow.
- Maintain exemplary standards of creative quality and craftsmanship across all outputs including brand identity, websites, and campaigns.
Candidate Profile
- Proven design experience with a robust portfolio demonstrating brand and digital work.
- Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and Webflow.
- Excellent conceptual thinker who can develop big ideas and refine intricate details.
- Ability to work effectively independently and collaboratively within a small, dynamic team.
- Strong communication prowess enabling confident presentation, persuasion, and client guidance through the creative process.
- Awareness and sensitivity towards social and environmental issues.
- Empathetic, insightful, and focused approach to work.
- Respect or willingness to learn tikanga Māori.

This is a fixed-term engagement to cover parental leave, but the hired designer will be welcomed as a full team member from the start.
