Role summary
This position is for a Senior Service Desk Associate who supports English-speaking users through phone, chat, and email. The job focuses on helping customers resolve issues across hardware, software, networks, and peripherals by using established systems, internal procedures, and troubleshooting methods.
What the role involves
- Handle customer conversations and log incidents in the IT service management system.
- Investigate problems, apply appropriate fixes, and work toward identifying root causes using internal guidance.
- Support issue triage, prioritization, and resolution through phone and email communication.
- Review and respond to internal requests related to PC maintenance.
- Act as a bridge between users and internal teams so that online system issues are resolved accurately and without delay.
- Document service requests and route them to the correct support teams when needed.
- Guide users on IT policies, system capabilities, and limitations.
- Work to keep user downtime as low as possible and ensure fast service recovery.
Skills and qualifications
- University education is preferred, ideally with a technical background or Microsoft certifications.
- Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, including both local and hybrid office/remote administration.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
- Prior experience supporting users in hybrid office and remote environments is an advantage.
- Strong troubleshooting ability with a logical approach to problem solving.
- Good customer handling and communication skills.
- Fluent English communication is required.
- Willingness to work in shifts when needed.
Working conditions
- This is a work-from-office role in Noida.
- The schedule runs on a 24/7 shift model.
- Shift length is 10 hours.
- One-way cab facility is provided.
- Compensation includes a 30% hike, plus bonus and night shift allowance.
