Role Overview
We are looking for a vigilant and detail-oriented IT Command Centre Analyst specializing in storage systems. This position is vital for maintaining the stability, availability, and optimal performance of our IT infrastructure and services. The role involves real-time monitoring, alert and incident analysis, as well as proactive operational support to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.
Primary Duties
- Carry out system health evaluations regularly following prescribed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Conduct health checks after changes (excluding verification stages) to validate system integrity.
- Respond promptly to monitoring alerts and ensure effective resolution.
- Analyze alert trends and implement improvements to reduce unnecessary notifications.
- Perform pattern analysis to detect recurring issues and recommend preventive strategies.
- Initiate and apply measures to minimize incident recurrence and enhance detection mechanisms for faster response.
- Investigate incidents as directed, assess impact using established criteria, and manage problem tickets up to temporary solutions per Technical Support Department guidelines.
- Execute recovery procedures up to restoration in accordance with authorized runbooks.
Required Qualifications and Expertise
- At least five years of experience managing enterprise storage infrastructure.
- Hands-on proficiency with SAN/NAS technologies, including equipment from Huawei, Brocade, Dell EMC, NetApp, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, and IBM.
- Competency in multi-platform environments such as Windows, Linux, and AIX operating systems.
- Strong background in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and handling complex incidents within mission-critical IT environments.
- Capability to work in a 24/7 rotational shift schedule inclusive of weekends and public holidays; role based in Loyang office.
