Junior Financial Analyst

About the Role

We are partnering with Haystack to recruit a Junior Financial Analyst to carry out comprehensive audits of annual and consolidated financial statements in adherence to both national and international standards. This role involves executing audit-related consulting for clients from various sectors, including financial and credit institutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform standard audits on both annual and consolidated financial statements under established national and international frameworks.
• Provide audit consulting services to a wide variety of clients representing multiple industries, notably in finance and credit.
• Assess business models and accounting issues thoroughly to facilitate well-informed expert evaluations and project outcomes.
• Conduct targeted special audits aimed at delivering precise solutions to complex queries posed by clients and aiding their decision-making.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary colleagues on a range of audit projects, spanning compliance checks to financial reporting tasks.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Completed degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Health Economics, Business Informatics, Business Mathematics, Informatics, Natural Sciences, or Law.
• Focus areas in auditing, accounting, banking, or information technology.
• Experience gained through internships, working student roles in audit, accounting, healthcare, banking, or compliance sectors, or commercial training with a banking emphasis.
• Fluency in both German and English at the C1 proficiency level.
• Strong analytical abilities, number affinity, and capacity for teamwork.
• Adaptability and flexibility in dynamic project environments.
