About the Role
Join our client in Bangalore as a Junior Frontend Developer focusing on crafting intuitive user experiences for a leading entertainment discovery platform in India. The role offers an opportunity to grow as a product engineer by building user-facing features that real people engage with daily.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain React-based user interfaces that are pixel-perfect and responsive.
- Translate UI designs into functional web pages and integrate REST APIs to implement product features under senior developer guidance.
- Address bugs, optimize application speed, and ensure quality through clean, reusable code.
- Engage in code reviews and adhere to best practices in frontend development.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, Backend, and QA teams to deploy features successfully.
- Continuously update skills in modern React techniques and actively participate in technical discussions.
Candidate Profile
- 1 to 2 years experience with React in web application development.
- Solid grasp of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and React principles.
- Experience consuming RESTful APIs and using Git in a modern frontend workflow.
- Strong problem-solving skills coupled with eagerness to learn and personal accountability.
- Bonus if familiar with Next.js or comparable React frameworks, and state management like Redux, Zustand, or Context API.
- Understanding of responsive design principles and performance tuning is advantageous.
- An interest in consumer products related to live events or entertainment technology platforms is preferred.

- Produce maintainable, scalable code designed for longevity.
- Take full ownership of features from development through deployment without passing off responsibilities.
- Prioritize performance and user experience, ensuring reliability and fast interaction.

- Adapt swiftly to changing priorities characteristic of the live entertainment sector while maintaining momentum.
