Logistics Manager

About the Role

Amazon is looking for a seasoned Logistics Manager to supervise daily transportation, inventory flow, and distribution activities. This role ensures the secure, efficient, and timely movement of products and materials throughout the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily functions involving logistics, transportation, shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
• Coordinate delivery schedules, carrier operations, and material transfers between various facilities.
• Monitor operational KPIs and work to enhance cost efficiency, quality, safety, and delivery results.
• Detect risks in the supply chain, shipment delays, and inventory concerns, and implement effective corrective measures.
• Collaborate closely with warehouse, procurement, operations, vendors, and transportation teams.
• Lead and manage logistics staff and external third-party service providers.
• Maintain precise records and uphold compliance with internal policies and safety regulations.
• Utilize data analytics and reporting tools to spot trends and promote ongoing improvements.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, supply chain, or operations roles.
• Experience in managing teams, vendors, carriers, or third-party logistics companies.
• Deep understanding of inventory control, shipping, receiving, and distribution workflows.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with logistics, warehouse management, or ERP software.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational abilities.
• A bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business, or a related area is preferable.
